You Are Better Series: Ice Cream!

The last part of the series.

That's vanilla (with extra colouring haha) and strawberry ice-cream.

Yeah, you can really see the mess I made on the card. Stamping is  really not my specialty, so I still need to practise lots! :)

You Are Better Series: Dessert!

The 2nd in the series.

From right to left: grape pudding, milk chocolate, chocolate cake and strawberry pudding.

Yet to make the box for this kind of cards though.

I'm in the mood for white cards recently. Simple, and straight to the point. :)

... And dessert always made me hungry. Hm.

You Are Better Series: Chocolate!

Let me just say this.

Personally, I think this is wayy tooo cheeesy LOL. Like 3 pounds cheesecake with triple cream cheese on top. Yeah. I hardly take cheese, so that's like triple the effect on me hahaha. But again, some just like cheesy things, so the series are definitely aimed for them LOL.

This is the first of three in the series, and I simply want to make cards using items that are already in my toolbox. I found these lying around and tadaa. I got myself instant card(s) hehe.

(Enjoy the series while I'm working on my typography experiments haha)

All Those Glitters

Another experiment.

For memorabilia.

Made for one of the lucky draws during a family gathering at Cameron Highlands, Malaysia (yeah, the family lurves get-togethers as well hehe).

... and I even found myself a model to showcase the frame. :P

(I may need to start giving commissions to the parents LOL!)

Polka Dots!

There are lots of firsts in making this card.

It was my first try at making a retro quilling card. And first try at using the ever-scary-but-gorgeous pattern paper (bought at S&C).

And my first time using distressing technique.  And rub-on transfer.

Yeah. Lots of scary firsts. But I survived! :)

Thank you Nadiah, for the opportunity! :)

Hi!

There are times words don't have to be spoken to be understood.

And sometimes a simple hi is enough to make someone's day.

So HI! :)

Indescribable Joy

Can you see the blurry blue sky? I like looking at them. It gives me an indescribable joy to do so.

Looking up the sky has become a daily morning habit. On certain days, you could see fluffy white clouds forming, with little grey ones at their sides. Sometimes there are hardly any clouds, that you wonder where they went to hide. On rainy days, the sky's so grey that you really wish the fragile fluffy clouds could survive the day. In the end, they always did anyway. And that, was truly a joy to see.

I guess it's true what Kahlil Gibran said, "He who hath not looked on sorrow will never see joy." So little clouds, continue surviving! :)

p/s: the winner for the giveaway will be announced this weekend, insyaAllah. :)

You.

Perhaps I should add more words to the card. Or perhaps I should not.

as simple is simply beautiful enough.

Of all the typography I've made these days, this remains a personal favourite.

Yeah. Coz it's green. :)

Fun!

Experimenting is...

Typography really is an interesting subject to dig into.

And I'm having a blast doing it. :)

(And getting addicted to it as well hehe)
